Voice of Muhabura has recorded 1 Covid-19 case from tests on samples that were collected on Sunday 23 August.
The one case has forced all the staff to go into institutional isolation. The management has since put up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to safeguard the operations of the station.
The management and stakeholders are currently in a crisis meeting to address the issue.

The managing director, Prince Trevor Mugenga says that the station will continue its operations as usual, following guidelines from the ministry of health.
Mr Trevor adds that staff who were sent on leave because of Covid-19 will be maintained to run the affairs of the station. Details on this story will follow later.
Meanwhile, another case was recorded in Nango village, Bunagana Town Council, Kisoro district, a second patient got from the same village.
A total of 155 Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths were recorded from the 4,513 samples tested yesterday.
A statement from the Ministry of Health shows that 9 health workers from Kampala (2), Wakiso (2) and Jinja (10) were also found positive of the virus.
To date, a total of 2,679 cases have been confirmed with the virus, while 28 have died of it. The cumulative number of recoveries currently stands at 1,268.
