Eyewitnesses say the teacher was knocked down at 9:00 am while on his way to school by someone riding a motorcycle labelled Gift Bakery.

Gisha LC1 Chairperson, Wandirera Joseph says that his village has lost an iconic citizen and a beloved teacher of 10 years.

Residents gather at deceased home to pay last respects.

He condemned motorcycle riders who transport confectionaries like Mandazi on terrible speed forgetting that the road has other users.

The Kabami Primary School Deputy Head Teacher Turinayo Herbert said that he was shocked by the news of Sempa demise adding that they had just spoken, and he was waiting to give him an assignment.

According to Turinayo, Kabami primary school has lost a passionate, respectful, practical, and unique teacher who cannot be easily replaced.

He also appealed to the employers of Mandazi riders to engage their workers and encourage them not to over speed but to set off in time if they wish to deliver their products properly.
