The Founding Director of Ineza Children Center Jackie Baganizi was yesterday evening installed as the new Rotary Club Of Mgahinga President of Kisoro for the year 2021-2022 replacing Immediate Past Rotary President Ezra Ndagije the Former Diocesan Secretary Muhabura Diocese in a Scientific function that took place at Travellers Guest House in Kisoro District.
The first woman to be installed Rotary President Jackie Baganizi expressed gratitude towards the previous Leadership for the tremendous work and asked them for support in her term of office.
She was given tools of power by the outgoing Rotary President Ezra Ndagije and was installed by the Past District Governor Rotarian Kenneth Mugisha.
The Change Marker Board of Rotary Club Mgahinga Kisoro have spent 3 years in service with 24 members, have chosen to embark on raising and procuring a portable Ultrasound Scan of the Maternity Ward of Kisoro District Hospital at a cost of 15 million shillings, Maternal and Child health and Water and Sanitation.
Jackie Baganizi pledged hard work and the promotion of team spirit in her term of office in order to put Kisoro District on the World Atlas through its communal activities aimed providing opportunity to use their professions to serve society, having fun while doing it and encouraging incredible opportunities to connect with millions of like-minded individuals worldwide in this non-partisan, non-denominational and non-discriminatory family.
She revealed her Board members as Rotarian President Jackie Baganizi, President Elect Rotarian Innocent Nsaba (Retired Banker now a farmer), Immediate Past President Ezra Ndagije serving as the Club Trainer, The Charter President Zakary Bigirimana serving as the Service Projects Chair, Club Secretary Rotarian Elizabeth Byiringiro (Deputy CAO KISORO), Club Treasurer Rotarian Jerome Mugisha also Medical Director Mutolere Hospital, Club Admin Rotarian Peace Ruzaza also Head Teacher Seseme Girls Blessed S S, Director Membership Rotarian Michael Baganizi Medical Superintendent Kisoro Hospital, Director Public Image, Public Relations Rotarian Beatrice Kabihogo also Director CBO Uplift the Rural Poor, Sergent at Arms Rotarian Alex Mushime Director Amazing Grace Pre and Primary School and Director for New Generation Past President of Kabarole Elizabeth Rwamwenge. but currently fellow shipping in Kisoro Rotarian also Public Relations Kayonde John Former Head teacher St Paul’s Mutolere Ss.
She appealed to the community members to serve when called upon.
