The educators say, it would be foolish not to educate learners in the holiday because the new curriculum is wide filled with both theory and practical learning.

The operation conducted today has generated various comments across various social media platforms with a section of people saying the action is long overdue, adding that learners benefit from the holiday because they get to help parents at home and also rest their fragile minds.

Others insisted that holiday learning is important for the safety of communities because when young children remain in the villages, mischievous acts often lead to serious crimes which are often avoided when they are at school.

Kisoro Resident District Commissioner along with Kisoro Police said the Government directive on holiday teaching will be followed to the letter.
