The call was made by the Kisoro district Gudie Leisure Farm (GLF) Agent, Amos Denis Byiringiro during the launch of GLF initiatives in Kisoro district at the Kisoro district headquarters.
Gudie Leisure Farm is a private entity operating in 27 districts of Uganda including Kisoro with the aim of transforming the youth, through teaching them farming and animal keeping basics.
According to Byiringiro, GLF can be described as a vehicle of transformation with an incubation program for the youth who are trained in white meat value chain among other agricultural related activities.

These include Rabbit, Pigs, Chicken and Fish.
He pointed out that it is possible for youth engaged in Agriculture to up to $1000 daily, if they remain focused and committed to their projects.
