Gorilla Highland Sports Club Strengthens its Squad with Five Additions, More signings expected as the club dreams of FUFA Big League promotion.

The Kigezi sub region league football entity in the Western Regional League (WRFA), Gorilla Highland Sports Club has officially signed five players to strengthen their shallow squad.

The Kisoro district based Club has been greatly affected this season by shortages especially Forwards and Defenders which has seen the team Swallow 5 goals in four games.
The signed players are Forwards Hashakimana Masudi and Fred Niyonzima from Kisoro, Agaba Ashil a Midfielder from Rwashemeire and Defenders Naturinda Benjamin and Muhairwe Richard from Kajara United fc in Rwashamire.

The Gorilla HSC CEO, Nsabiyumva Joseph confirmed the additions. He says that the signings will bolster his squad that has been having only 14 active members. He added that player Licenses were also printed out on Friday 21st January to enable new signings start duty during the Saturday’s clash against the on form Kigezi Home Boyz fc at Kabale Municipal Stadium at 3pm.
Gorilla currently sits on top of the Kigezi sub region league table with 9 points level with the Kabale based side Kigezi home boys fc and Rwampara Bulls fc.
Gorilla HSC, a side coached by Mutabaruka John a CAF B holder has been in the region league for over five years now and has never been relegated to the fourth division or promoted to the FUFA Big league.
According to Mr. Lee, FUFA Big league is top on agenda for the club and maintaining the top Position in the Kigezi Sub Region is key. He believes that the new signings will provide more options for his Coach, Mutabaruka John.
