Preparations are in high gear for a friendly football match between Voice of Muhabura staff and Kituzi Farm Company Limited staff.
The two partner companies are slated to prove their football prowess on July 6, 2024, at the popular Shaza grounds in Kisoro Municipality.
The day will also be an opportunity for Kituzi Farm Company to reward its clients in Kisoro district.
Voice of Muhabura has been instrumental in broadening the market base of Kituzi Health drink within Kisoro, neighbouring districts and countries like Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo for the past 8 years.
According to Moses Ariho, the Director of Kituzi Farm Company, the friendly match is a celebration of cooperation between the two Companies.
Ariho also considers this a way of getting closer to the customers and appreciating their contribution to the company’s growth.
“We shall have lots of prizes. We shall ask simple questions and those who give the right answers will surely walk home with something. We want to appreciate our customers who buy our only product, Kituzi. They have been good to us for the last 8 years and we want to say ‘thank you’ to them.” He said.
Mr Ariho made a case for physical exercises for a health body and mind, adding that their product only acts as a supplement in body cleansing.
Meanwhile, Voice of Muhabura management appreciated the cooperation between the two companies.
The staff remain with optimism to walk away with victory on July 6, with the team captain Barham Tumwebaze urging the radio’s audience to come in big numbers to support them.
Barham, commonly known as ‘Problem’, says all staff members have been training to win the game, including female presenters.
The friendly game is slated to kick off at 2pm, with directors of both companies participating in the game.
Voice of Muhabura staff train at the station grounds every evening, while Kituzi Farm Company staff are said to be embroiled in several pitch drills in Bushenyi.
