A truck registration number T593 DSX M/ Benz box body driven by Jackson Fredrick, 39 years on its way from Tanzania through Mutukula heading to DRC, has today caught fire after Karengyere trading centre in district along Kabale-Kisoro highway at Kagano cell.

Fortunately, no life was lost or injured.
According to the Kigezi police spokesperson Elly Maate, the incident occurred today at around 12pm. Maate says the preliminary cause is that the vehicle got a leakage in the fuel tank.
