The Bufumbira south Member of Parliament Hon Sam Kwizera Bitangaro has been congratulated by people of Bufumbira south after he emerged among the Member of Parliament who performed excellently in the 3rd session of the 10th parliament. Bitangaro scored 83.7 percent
Mbarusha Charles said it is a pleasure for Bitangaro to score 83.7 percent adding that his deeds are visible.
“for sure it is a pleasure for our mp to emerge among the excellent mps, this means he represents our issues on the floor of the parliament’’ said Mbarusha.
Habumuremyi George the chairperson of traders in Kisoro municipality said Bitangaro is working on both at national level and in Bufumbira south. He added that he has helped many people of Kisoro to get Jobs abroad.
“he helped over 300 youth to get jobs abroad”.says Habumuremyi.
Karuhije Benoni a resident of Mugwata village Kisozi parish in Muramba sub county said Sam Bitangaro has helped much to extend water in the constituency,construction of bridges in Muramba and Nyarusiza,building community health aids in Nyakinama among others.
Other said that for Bitangaro emerging among the excellent performers means that he presents issues in the parliament as well as lobbing for developmental projects for Bufumbira south.
Nizeyimana William a resident of Kanombe,Gisozi parish in Muramba sub county said that Bitangaro has managed to work upon different projects in Bufumbira south.
Meanwhile Dr James Nsaba Buturo scored 78.3 percent.Hon Rose Kabageni the woman MP 37.9, Hon Minister Dr Philemon Mateeke 22.9, Byibesho Sam for Kisoro Municiaplity 14.5 while Hon John Kamara Nizeyimana emerged with 0.7 percent.
The analysis covered individual MPs’ performance, aggregated regional sub-regional performance and the overall performance of parliament as a governance institution.
The findings were verified by Uganda Management Institute to enhance the credibility of the data that could have an impact on electoral outcomes in the forthcoming general elections.
