Primary School teacher in Kisoro dies in Road Accident

Ngiruwonsanga was returning home from Kisoro town heading to Cyanika when he reached a corner and due to the high speed, he lost control of the motorcycle which knocked two innocent bystanders and left the rider seriously injured after he hit his head on the tarmac.

Police in Kisoro district has registered a fatal road accident that has claimed the life of 40-year-old Pascal Ngiruwonsanga, a teacher at Muganza Primary School.

The deceased was a resident of Kabami village, Chahafi town council, Kisoro district.

The accident that occurred yesterday happened at around 9:30pm in Busamba village along Kisoro- Cyanika highway.

It involved a yet to be established motorcycle that was being ridden by the deceased and an adult female pedestrian, whose details were not clear by press time.

It is alleged that the deceased, Ngiruwonsanga was returning home from Kisoro town heading to Cyanika when he reached a corner and due to the high speed, he lost control of the motorcycle which knocked two innocent bystanders and left the rider seriously injured after he hit his head on the tarmac.

All those involved in the accident were rushed to St. Francis Hospital, Mutolere however the rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead by midnight.

Kisoro traffic OC Kushaba Michael called on all road users to desist from over speeding because it makes it difficult to control a moving machine at such terrific speeds.
