A second year student at Metropolitan International University has this evening perished in a road accident at Nyakabande, on Kisoro-Kabale road.
The deceased is Rusaro Deborah, who died on spot after a motorcycle she was riding was crashed by a trailer registration number UAL 626X.
Eyewitnesses told Voice of Muhabura that Deborah was riding the motorcycle, carrying her friend only identified as Viola, as they headed towards Nyakabande.
The Kisoro traffic Police officer Tumuheirwe William, told us that the accident happened when the two girls riding a motorcycle rammed into a speed trailer that was heading to Kisoro town.
He said that the one who was riding (Deborah) died instantly while Violah was rushed to hospital in critical conditions.
Tumuheirwe said that they have arrested the driver of the tailor and the vehicle was taken to Kisoro police by the time of filing this story.
According to eyewitnesses, the two girls were ridding from Kisoro and they were trying to enter in the main road before the accident.
Voice of Muhabura has learnt that the deceased was a student of Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration, and has been working with the Diocese of Muhabura bakery after registering for a dead year.
