Kisoro territorial police is investigating circumstances under which a man in his 40’s was found dead.
The lifeless body of Basore Fred was found lying in a trench on Kisoro-Cyanika road, at Rubagabaga village, Rutare Parish, Chahi Sub County in Kisoro district.
He was a resident of Nyagisenyi, in Chahi Sub County.
Relatives say the deceased, who worked as a mason, was last spotted on Sunday afternoon as he walked towards Cyanika Town Council.
Unfortunately, he did not return home, only for his body to be found in a trench on Monday morning by passersby.
By publication time, police officers from Chahi Sub County headquarters and Kisoro CPS had visited the scene and kicked off preliminary investigations.
No statement was released, but the body was taken to Kisoro Hospital for a postmortem.
