Residents of Ndago village in Nyarusiza Sub county watched with surprise after one Mbarushimana Charles, a resident of Ndago village in Nyarusiza Sub County was told to pay 300,000 shillings to his former worker Niyonsaba Robert, whom he dismissed unfairly after accusing him of fathering a child with his sister in-law.
The Local court convened yesterday 7th July 2021 before the LC3 Chairperson Nsabimana Erasmus.
According to Nsabimana Erasmus, Niyonsaba Robert has been claiming to be a biological son to Mbarushimana Charles and had no other home to stay after being chased out of his residence on Mbarusha’s Land.
While speaking to the voice of Muhabura, Nsabimana Erasmus said that his court found out that Niyonsaba Robert is a Rwandese national and a son to Singirankabo Isaac from Musaza district.
He noted that Mbarushimana and Niyonsaba have signed an agreement to confirm that they have parted ways and Niyonsaba paid 300,000 shillings cash for a three months’ rent and upkeep and he finds a new job.
Mbarushimana Charles says that he has been relieved because residents can now understand that Niyonsaba was his worker but not a son. He noted that he was saved by Niyonsaba’s Marriage certificate that showed his true origin and real parents.
He says that he paid the 300,000 shillings willingly because he was respecting the LC3 court’s decision and also to simplify his former worker’s life in the next chapter.
