What a week it has been for Liverpool.

The Reds collected their first Premier League trophy this week and saw captain Jordan Henderson named the Football Writers’ Player of the Year.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will finish their domestic campaign with a visit to Newcastle United, although the planning for next season has already begun.

There is still plenty of speculation linking Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara with a switch to Anfield though he’s not the only star said to be on The Reds’ radar.

Fans are eagerly awaiting news on who will join the Klopp’s side, and with that in mind here are the latest Liverpool transfer rumours.

Liverpool targeting Real Betis defender

Klopp is reportedly interested in Real Betis defender Aissa Mandi, according to a report from Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo.

Mandi, 28, is a versatile defender capable of playing anywhere across the back four and is now entering the final year of his contract. It’s assumed he will not seek an extension with the club and that has put Liverpool on alert.

Betis will be keen to avoid losing Mandi for free next summer, and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic has only heightened their need for cash this summer.

The Reds could use the money from Dejan Lovren’s impending transfer to Zenit to fund a deal for Mandi, with Klopp attracted to the defender’s versatility.

Liverpool fancy Inter midfielder

Liverpool are ready to make a move for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to FC Inter News.

Brozovic, 27, joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016 and has gone on to be a key player at the San Siro.

With that said, Antonio Conte is keen to raise funds to reshape his squad this summer and the Croatian international is just one player being considered as a disposable asset.

Inter earmarked a fee of near £100million for Lautaro Martinez, but Barcelona are having cash-flow issues themselves in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and a deal is by no means certain.

That could allow Liverpool to sneak in and agree a deal for Brozovic as Klopp looks to maintain Liverpool’s momentum.

Lallana agrees Anfield exit

Adam Lallana has agreed a deal with Brighton & Hove Albion, paving his exit from Liverpool, according to Read Liverpool.

Lallana, 32, joined the Reds from Southampton in 2014 and will leave the club a Premier League, European and World champion.

Klopp has routinely praised the midfielder’s conduct as he battled with injuries and he will hope to avoid that curse on the south coast.

Reports claim the England international has agreed to a three-year deal with Graham Potter’s side and will bring experience and quality to a squad that looks like finishing just above the relegation zone this season.
