Congratulatory messages have been pouring in on social media

Former Kisoro Municipality MP Sam Byibesho said, “Congratulations to Hon Kwizera Eddie upon winning the hotly contested seat. Also Congratulations to Mr. Asgario for being brave. It was not easy. Am assuring you that losing in Politics does not mean losing the world”, Byibesho said

Emmanuel Dombo said, “Now that the elections are over, I take this singular opportunity to thank everyone who participated, especially the candidates, their representatives, the party officials, the government representatives… we need to de-escalate and reload for service delivery and social economic transformation”, Dombo stressed.

NRM Vice- Chairperson Central Region Kiwanda Godfrey also congratulated Mr. Kwizera upon his election to the 11th Parliament.

Bruce (not real name) said, “thanks ba dia who have fought the battle of the whole nation against us, but we have made them smell the energy of the real true Bukimbiri people. Viva ASGARIO it’s not over but we pause for continuation.

Kisoro LCV chairman Abel Bizimana said, “Now is the time: I am contemplating to ask voters to represent them in Parliament for BUFUMBIRA EAST”.

2nd runner up, Mr. Asgario Turyagyenda has not made any public statement on the declaration, however his supporters have shown great vulnerability, claiming that the election was rigged.

Electoral commission says, it has not received any official complaints.
