Jaguar Bus traveling from Rwanda to Uganda has today overturned, killing the driver and several others.
Spokesperson for Traffic and Road Safety, Kananura Michael said the Jaguar Bus Registration number UBF 736G, Isuzu model overturned at a place called Kajumiro Maddu- Ssembabule road.
According to Kananura, the bus crossed into Uganda from Rwanda via Mirama.
By Press time, at least three people died including the bus driver identified as David Asiimwe. Eight others were injured and rushed to Maddu HC III for treatment.
The deceased were taken to Gomba Hospital for postmortem.
Kananura said the cause of the accident has not been established however investigations into the incident are underway.
It is barely two months since Jaguar Bus Company acquired a new fleet of buses to ensure improved service delivery along Kampala- Kisoro-Rwanda Road.

Road traffic accidents remain a major concern as people continue to perish on Ugandan roads, largely due to over speeding, dangerous overtaking and drunk driving among others.
