Uganda Cranes forward Miya Farouk has left Konyaspor in the Turkish top tier league for second division side Ankaragucu on a season long loan deal, vomuhabura has learnt.
On 20 August 2019, Miya signed a three-year contract with Süper Lig side Konyaspor joining from Croatian outfit Gorica.
Miya who has scored 19 times in 58 appearances for Uganda managed 41 appearances for Konyaspor last season, scoring six times and assisting just thrice.
Miya who transfer market value is EUR 1.50m still has a running contract with Konyaspor until June 20th, 2022.
The club’s greatest domestic successes are the Turkish Football Championship title in 1949 and two Turkish Cups won in 1972 and 1981.
They also won the second division on two occasions. Regionally, Ankaragücü have won six Ankara Football League titles.
