All roads lead to Voice of Muhabura radio grounds in Kamonyi, Kisoro Municipality on the 23rd of December 2022 for DUNDA Festival 2022.
Voice of Muhabura will be celebrating 14 years of existence.
Headlining this year’s event will be Ugandan singer Reagan Muhairwe, commonly known as Ray G Rhiganz of ‘Nobanza’ and ‘Make a way’ fame.
Prince Trevor Mugenga, the managing director of the leading voice says several local artists will be given an opportunity to perform.
“We have a few surprises up our sleeves therefore people need to come in person to find out”, Mugenga said
Mugenga says the radio that was started back in 2008 has been part and parcel of the community providing services that are informative, spiritual and entertaining.
He says the last two years, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the radio was tested in terms of revenue collection however the staff remained committed, and the public never abandoned the radio.
Mugenga says, as the year comes to an end, a mega bash rich with cultural and youth entertainment has been organized.
Local businesses have been encouraged to come and promote their products at a small fee.
