The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Jane Frances Abodo has deployed and flagged off 100 recently recruited State Attorneys to serve the people of Uganda in Judicial matters.
DPP Abodo called on the new state attorneys to exhibit integrity, faithfulness and hard work by remaining focused on the constitution and laws of Uganda.
Among the new State Attorneys include Nambi Erone who will be serving as the Kisoro State Attorney.
Others include, Isaac Onyango and Racheal Nkwanzi who will both work as Kabale State Attorneys.
The new State Attorneys will be expected to report to their respective duty stations with immediate effect.
In May this year, Kisoro held its first high court sitting where over 40 cases including murder, aggravated robbery and defilement were disposed of.

Kisoro district currently boasts of Cyanika Magistrates Court as well as Bunagana Magistrates Court.
