The warning was issued while in the Ikimeza program on Saturday 17th July 2021 that was hosted by Dennis Nsenga. Abel accuses Munezero of engaging in several illegal dealings that may lead the district into trouble.

According to Bizimana, Munezero being a civil servant should be protecting government property rather than vying for its loss. He says that at one occasion Munezero misrepresented the interests of the district council in the ministry of tourism and it took him a lot of time to clear the name of Kisoro.

This warning comes at a time Munezero is in conflict with Kisoro Municipal councilors over the destruction of properties belonging to Nkunga Adventures Afrika in Mayor’s garden.

After the demolition of properties belonging to Nkunga, Munezero plus one other sued individuals in the names of Nkurunziza Geoffrey, Uwomugisha Anne and other councilors on cases of theft and malicious damage.

Abel Bizimana said he is going to write to the Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Onzu Ismail informing him on the lucrative dealings of Munezero.

In a phone interview with the Kisoro district tourism Officer Mr. Munezero, he denied such allegations. He said that the chairperson is aware that Nkunga Adventures Afrika activities are separate from his job as a tourism officer. He revealed that this week the Public relations officer of the company will be in Kisoro to clarify on its activities.
