Arsenal will face Chelsea in the 2020 FA Cup final on August 1 as all Manchester teams are officially out
The Gunners booked their place in the final with a brilliant 2-0 win over holders Manchester City on Saturday evening, with captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the hero with a brace.Their London rivals went one better in terms of goals scored as they put three past Manchester United this evening.
Olivier Giroud broke the deadlock shortly before half-time before Mason Mount benefitted from a David de Gea error to double the Blues’ lead and an own-goal from Harry Maguire put the tie out of United’s reach.
Bruno Fernandes did reduce the deficit with a penalty, but there was to be no dramatic comeback in the final 10 minutes plus injury time.
