Voice of Muhabura’s journalist, Joshua Niyonshima has officially joined active politics after he got his nomination form to contest as an LC5 councilor for southern division, Kisoro municipality.
Speaking to Media, Niyonshima Joshua revealed that he had been granted a political leave by voice of Muhabura management to enable him get enough time to interact with southern division locals to get of their concerns that have not been answered.
Niyonshima noted that he has southern division at heart and he cannot see its development lagging behind yet he is capable to lobby for development.
He added that once he is voted into leadership, he will utilize his time to attract electricity, water and other social services to residents in the division.
The Kisoro Journalist United Association (KUJA) Chairman, Ivan Ingabire commended Niyonshima for the courageous mind and the will to lead the people of southern division to the promised land.

He called on other journalists with the same ambitions to be confident and join politics because journalists are the most capable leaders.
Gasana John Bayizere, the KUJA treasurer and aspiring LC3 councilor for Nyakabingo parish in Chahi Sub County welcomed Joshua into the political battlefield.
He asked residents in Southern Division to shower Niyonshima with votes because he is trustworthy.
