The Kisoro United Boda Boda(KUBO) chairperson Nteziyaremye Robert Kalangala has advised motorists to avoid carrying unknown people during the night if they are to save their lives from thugs who have started killing and taking their motorcycles.
Kalangala said this today after Mucunguzi Robert 22, was hit by unknown thugs and his motorcycle registration number UFC 462 N taken yesterday. The incident happened at around 6:00am in Nyagashinge village, Kisoro municipality. Mucunguzi is currently admitted at St Francis Mutorele hospital.
Speaking to voice of Muhabura, Mucunguzi asked police to follow the case so that his motorcycle can be recovered.
Batamukoraho Baker the KUBO general secretary said that thugs are increasing every day urging that security should put more efforts in patrolling dark places during the night.
Last month Tumushime Julius a cyclist from Chahi sub count was hit on head and his motorcycle UFB 519 Z taken.
