Ministry of Health has warned that people who will sell or misuses Mosquito net will be taken to courts of the law.
Speaking to Journalists in Western Uganda during a Zoom meeting, Emanuel Ainebyona Public Relations officer in Ministry of Health said that the team from State House is monitoring and will be moving around the country and will penalize those caught selling nets to Foreigners and using them in other ways other than sleeping under them.
He said that all people will get Mosquito Net without segregation and the excise of distributing Mosquito nets to the whale country will start this August to December this year.
According to Doctor Opigu in charge of National Malaria Control, every household will receive Mosquito nets and ministry has engaged social workers and four members of the village to be witness in all villages in sub counties to get involved in distributing Nets.
Kisoro, Rubanda, kabale, Rukiga, Kanungu Rukungiri, Kasese Bushenyi, Mbarara, Isingiro, Shema, Kiruhura, Hoima, Fortpotal, Kikube among others received Mosquito Nets and are waiting to distribute them to People.
