Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium later today, with both sides looking to pick up three points following varied results in midweek.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side suffered a surprising defeat to rock-bottom Sheffield United, handing a huge blow to their Premier League title aspirations.
United hold a ten-point advantage over Arsenal heading into the game, which could be extended significantly or cut to seven points depending on the result.
Mikel Arteta’s side are, of course, looking to secure a double over United this season with a win, while back-to-back defeats for Solskjaer’s side would be a huge blow to their campaign
United do have a number of injury concerns heading into the match, with Eric Bailly facing a late fitness test ahead of the game – but the Ivorian will travel with the squad to north London.
If Bailly is not passed fit, Victor Lindelof is the man expected to partner Harry Maguire in the heart of United’s defence.
Phil Jones and Brandon Williams are two definite absentees due to injury but will not be a major issue, with neither established as a core member of Solskjaer’s strongest starting line-up.
