The event also attracted financial support amounting to one Million Shillings from State Minister of Youth and Children Affairs Sarah Mateke (500,000) and Bukimbiri County MP Eddie Kwizera (500,000 Ugandan Shillings)

The youths from various churches under Muhanga Parish were taken through a series of experiences that include life skills, education, spiritual growth, health living and others.

John Bosco Ahimbazwe, one of the conference facilitators, challenged the Catholic youths to love education and take part in the politics, instead of exchanging their votes for small handouts.

The youths were also warned against sexual relationships with married people. Sylivia Ninsiima, who also facilitated at the conference said that such behaviors are satanic because a couple vows to stay together until death.

Youths who took part in the conference say the lessons learnt will have a positive impact in their lifestyle.
