Danfordio releases 61st Independence Day Song

During an interview with vomuhabura.com. Ndikumwami said serving as an RDC in Kisoro was one of the greatest honors because it allowed him to experience true leadership.

Kisoro District Former Deputy Resident District Commissioner, Dan Ndikumwami also known as Danfordio the Patriot has released an Independence Day Single, titled Shine Uganda.

The three minutes, fifty-eight Seconds song speaks well to the history of Uganda right from when the Union Jack was lowered, and the Uganda flag was raised.

Ndikumwami, who has proven to be a good linguistic uses a blend of English, Luganda and Kiswahili in a story of victory for the Ugandans.

He praises President Yoweri Museveni and the NRM Government for bringing stability to a country with a turbulent history.

This year’s 61 years Independence Day celebrations will take place in Kotido District.

Ndikumwami, who serves as the deputy head of Security in Kisoro district says this song was a special project for him because he believes it can be used in schools and other learning institutions to help the younger generation appreciate Uganda’s history.

Ndikumwami has composed several songs that promote patriotism, awareness and love for Uganda including the COVID 19 song.

During an interview with vomuhabura.com. Ndikumwami said serving as an RDC in Kisoro was one of the greatest honors because it allowed him to experience true leadership.

He says his focus now is on how to make Uganda a better place in whatever position or capacity he finds himself.
