Court heard that on the 2nd of February 2022, while in Burere Village, Ndugustse, Ndugustse, A Rwandan National and a porter by profession found Nyirampano Ferester 23 seated at the entrance of her home where he allegedly grabbed her by her right hand and dragged to a nearby bush where he raped her.

Evidence suggests that Nyirampano was saved by her father who returned to the home and heard an alarm being made, forcing the perpetrator to flee.

During the course of the trial, more evidence proven to the Court proves that the two, Ndugustse and Nyirampano had ever had sexual intercourse on December 25th, 2021, and again on the fateful day of February 2nd, 2022.

Nyirampano says, both times were without her consent however the Prosecution questioned why she only reported the onetime of 2nd February.

Court also heard that on 2nd February 2022, before the sexual encounter, Ndugustse gave Nyirampano 1000 Ugandan shillings after she questioned why Ndugustse no longer buys her Alcohol.

It is believed that after Ndugustse gave her 1000 Shillings, he inquired from her whether he was going to leave without having the chance to sleep with her again.

Nyirampano says, she asked the man to join her in the house since her father was not home and they could enjoy quality time together however Ndugustse says, he preferred the bush.

Hon. Justice Emokor said the proof provided shows that the accused and the defendant both knew each other, and the cash transaction further debunks the claims that the woman was raped.

Justice Emokor set the young men and told him to stay clear of Nyirampano for his own safety.

Ndugustse says Nyirampano is now married, and he has no interest in engaging any woman so soon. He advised young men should simply fear women and focus on their businesses.

He said his next move in life is to get into business, preferably dealing in Irish potatoes.
