Margret, the second wife to the Late Sebuhingiririza says, at the time of his passing, he lacked for nothing.

She commended all the health workers who did their very best to assist Mzee, right from the time he was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, Mutolere.

His condition necessitated his immediate transfer to Kabale regional referral hospital thereafter Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital where he died.

The Late Sebuhingiririza was a man, greatly respected among his peers in the business community for his work ethic that made him one of the biggest and wealthiest landowners in the district.

Sebuhingiririza’s life was not free of troubles and challenges.

The former owner and investor of Kirwa Wolfram Mines in Nyarubuye Sub- County, Kisoro District had several running ins with the Government as well as the locals, over the right to exploit the precious mineral.

Close sources in Kisoro district land board say titling and ownership of land remains a hotly contested issue among his children.

Sebuhingiririza is survived by two wives, 20 children and 67 grandchildren.

Gatete Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Safari, the main celebrant, called on the children of the deceased to come together and avoid fighting over earthly property because it is vanity.

Hundreds of people from all over Kisoro, Mbarara, Rwanda, Adjumani, Masaka and Bulambuli filled St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mutolere to full capacity, to bid the late Sebuhingiririza farewell.

Boniventure Nkuranga, a local businessman and close friend to the deceased described him as a mentor and as a man who loved to give and receive counsel.
