He revealed that the victim on Thursday July 21, 2022 left Bunagana to Kisoro Market for shopping in Kisoro town, and his relatives last heard from her at about 5m until Friday July 22, at around 09:47am when the suspected kidnappers begun using her phone demanding for a 500,000 Shillings ransom.

Her 45 year old mother, Mukeshimana Bageni told Police that the suspected kidnappers say that they can’t release her until the ransom is received.

He noted that tracking is being expedited by Police since the suspects might terminate the life of the victim in default of ransom payment.
