Kisoro LCV other district leaders face off with Kisoro youth in end of year football match- See full line

The Kisoro district LCV chairperson Abel Bizimana along with other district Councilors and technocrats have vowed to display fitness and agility as they face off with Kisoro youth at the Saaza playgrounds.

According to the Kisoro district football team captain and district speaker Amos Hakizimana, the football match is meant to serve as a sign of willingness to work together, putting aside political and cultural difference.

“2021 has been a very difficult year politically and socially and those who felt the brunt of it were the youth especially therefore we want to show them that they matter too”, Hakizimana explained

Hakizimana further explained that the football match will give the Kisoro public an opportunity to see and interact with their leaders from sub county level all the way to the district executive.

Kisoro district Vice chairperson Alex Ndayambaje said his team is well prepared to put on a good show.

He noted that after the football match, all district leaders will attend a luncheon at Tourist hotel sponsored by Uganda Investment Authority boss Mukiza Robert.

Mukiza Robert, a Mufumbira by tribe has been instrumental in attracting business to Kisoro district.

Youth Speak out

The Kisoro district youth Chairperson Tuyizere John Bosco commended the district leadership for always inviting them for friendly matches where it is a privilege to interact and engage with the top leadership of the district.

Tuyizere explained that the district leaders are highly respected for their political prowess but on the football pitch, they should be prepared to be humbled.
