Residents of Kaziba village, Gasovu parish in Nyarusiza sub county and its vicinity are celebrating the resurrection of one Fongo Mfutumukiza who had been announced dead yesterday.
The family of Zakariya Mihogo had announced the deaths of their son informing friend and relatives but this latter turned into songs of joy.
According to close relatives Mfitumukiza 35 who carrying out business in Kasese district was pronounced dead by his wife who informed relatives that her husband has died under unclear circumstances.
They say that they learnt about the death of their relative yesterday at around 9am and started burial arrangements including announcing the death of Mfitumukizi.
However residents were greatly surprised after getting information from a team that had gone to pick the dead that Mfitumikiza Fonogo was still breathing.
At around 11 pm last night when people had gathered around the fire, they started` celebrating after being told that Mfitumukiza is alive but in bad condition.
According to relatives who brought the announcements at radio, people started eating the food they had prepared to eat on Friday 18th the day they had prepared to burry Mfitumukiza.
Moments later another announcement was passed on Voice of Muhabura stopping the burial of Fonogo Mfumukiza.
