The Kisoro district Health officer, Dusabe Annette was yesterday
inducted as the new Lions Club president of Kisoro for the year 2021
to 2022 replacing Rev. Herbert Mujabwami in a scientific function that
took place at Ikoro Hotel.
Being the first ever woman to preside over the lions club of Kisoro,
Dusabe Annette expressed gratitude towards the previous leadership
for the superb performance and asked for support in her term office.
She was given tools of power by the outgoing president Lion Rev.
Herbert Mujabwami and inducted by Lion Prince Trevor Mugenga.
Dusabe Annette pledged hard work and promotion of team spirit in
her term of office in order to put the Lions club of Kisoro on the
national Map through its communal activities aimed at helping people.
The Lions club of Kisoro former President who doubled as a guest of
honor and the Manager for voice of Muhabura, Lion Prince Mugenga
said that he is grateful to the immediate past President Rev. Herbert
Mujabwami for having performed to his best despite leading in a
covid-19 era and pledged total support to the new leadership.
He also revealed a full 2021/2022 Lions club of Kisoro cabinet. They
include President Dusabe Annette, 1st vice president is Immaculate
Mujabwami, 2nd vice president is Carol Mugisha and the general
secretary is Ndizeye Enoce among others.
The outgoing President Lion Rev. Mujabwami Herbert appreciated his
cabinet and club members for having worked together in the covid-19
era and achieved many things including new members and
construction of a shed in Kisoro Municipality.
