The UBUNTU Bafumbira United Association (UBUA) on Wednesday 21st July 2021  handed over seven Oxygen Cylinders to Kisoro district covid-19 task force as one way of contributing to the fight against the deadly covid-19 diseases in the district.

The cylinders were handed over to the district covid-19 task force by the UBUA Coordinator, Hatega Emmanuel Nkunda Vega

According to Vega, Over 500 UBUA Members contributed over 12 million shillings to purchase oxygen cylinders in order to supplement the district’s efforts to fight against covid-19 that has threatened lives of many people on earth.

This is the second time UBUA is donating Oxygen Cylinders to the district with the first batch having happened on 21st June 2021 specifically for Kisoro hospital. The same association donated a number of Mattresses during the first covid-19 wave.
